      Btw, have you tried FakeFactory's Cinematic mod? Pretty darn impressive what they did with this game.

          It's pretty impressive, but insanely huge. A few gigabytes each pack - the later ones require a 64bit Windows to function properly. That's why I'm stuck with mod v4.0 - and v8 (!) beta was just released...

          But in any case, take your time before you download any of them, some might change the game more than you want to.

            I've never been a big fan of the newer HL stuff anyway, so it can't change them for the worse!

              Ah. Then I should "warn" you anyways, all this mod does, really, is adding high-res textures and updating most of the character models to high-poly ones.
